This is a site put together by the k20 group from OU. There are resources for all subject areas at various grade levels organized by theme or subject area.
This site offers “hunt” activities in Math, Social Studies and Science where students explore a topic and if they answer incorrectly the “hunt” sends them on a journey of discovery learning. This site was suggested by a fellow coac3h.
There is a concept floating around called “flipping your classroom”. If you are lacking in technology in your room this doesn’t mean that student’s don’t have access to technology at home. Here is an article from the New York Times that explains “flipping” and offers resources.
